MIRAI Cold 15 O/A is a highly efficient air-cooled open-cycle refrigeration machine, designed to deliver and maintain ultra-low temperatures from –40 °C to –130 °C directly into a cold chamber.
Unlike traditional systems, the MIRAI Cold 15 O/A operates in an open cycle, supplying cold air directly into the chamber without the need for an internal evaporator or auxiliary fans. All you need is an external fan to ensure air circulation. It is the only open-cycle model from MIRAI that uses air cooling, meaning it does not require any water cooling system.
Each open-cycle unit is equipped with a unique humidity extraction device, which captures and mechanically removes moisture from the air inside the chamber. This prevents ice buildup and minimizes the need for frequent defrosting, making MIRAI Cold 15 O/A the perfect solution for long-term storage at ultra-low temperatures.

Control Panel
User-friendly interface and easy control of the machine is provided by 7” color touch screen panel. System is compatible with digital communication protocols ProfiNET, EtherCAT, EtherNET/IP, and Powerlink.
Snow catcher (Humidity extractor)
The ultra-cold air leaves the machine and enters the cold room via Snow Catcher. The air then leaves the room and enters the machine through the Snow Catcher filters. Clean and moisture-free, the air returns safely to the machine
Transporter
The Snow Catcher filters are cleaned automatically by the machine. Trapped snow falls from the filters down where is collected by the transporter and removed automatically from the room. Outside, the snow melts naturally or by provided heating cable.
Control cabinet air filter cartridges
The only part that requires regular maintenance. The cartridges must be replaced every 9000 operating hours or as required by the machine. A simple task that requires no special training or certification.
