Mirai Intex at European Parliament
Yesterday we had the chance to speak at an event organised by Mr. Bas Eickhout in the European Parliament, together with ATMOsphere.
This event was focused to identify the hurdles and opportunities for various sectors to move to natural alternatives. The companies shortly presented their solutions and continue with discussion how the F-gas Regulation could help to accelerate this transition.
Representing MIRAI INTEX and being part of the Clean Cooling Coalition, lead by Marc Chasserot , we stand in favour of creating a level policy environment for the uptake of Natural Refrigerant solutions in the Refrigeration and AC sectors. With the upcoming review of the F-gas regulation, We must get rid of the GWP limit exemption for refrigerants which are applied in temperatures -50C and lower.
There are plenty alternatives to choose from to stop using R23 (GWP 14800) and R508B (GWP 13400). Natural refrigerants are the future, regardless if chemical giants like it or not!
